Creating a Contact Form in Answerly

Dear Answerly Support Team,

I’ve been exploring Answerly and have read about a contact form feature. However, despite my efforts, I’m unable to locate it. Could you please provide clear guidance on how to create a contact form within the Answerly platform?

Hey @duplex thank you for joining in!

We’re currently working on conversational forms, which is expected to go live soon!

The contact form has been temporarily removed in favor of conversational forms!

Let me know if you have other questions!

Looking forward to test it out.

Amazing any ETA please? Holding off on going live until this is released.

It would be cool to see a preview of this feature. Maybe a screecast video showing what it can do.

The feature should go live shortly, in January. It’s unlike anything that exists right now, and I can’t wait for it to go live!

@Fatos That’s great news! Keep up the good work.

Hi, I assume the conversational form would work similarly to Chatwith’s action. You would describe what data the chatbot should collect, provide the schema to the chatbot, and describe which ones are required. Once the user provides that data in chat, it will send a webhook to the webhook address we provided with the payload according to the provided schema. If so, that would be a great start. However, I wonder if you would also go further with the ability to listen to the returned response from the webhook and use that as an answer to the user’s question. The use case is using the user’s info to check on order status from other sources than Google Sheet. Using an automation platform such as Make it would call another API based on the info given by the user and return an which will be relayed back Answerly.
