Currently, the 2048 Character limitation on tabular data, limits drastically the usability of this feature. Any product description and details of a product or listing goes beyon that.
Please improve to go to at least 8000 Characters per Row.
Also, if it is a matter of quality, maybe let us use it ourown risk? Or maybe improve the way Data is being transmitted to the AI Agent.
If every row is perceived as a separate document by the agent, and a normal Google Doc can be above 2048 characters, then a row in Google Sheets - treated as separate document - should have more character capacity.
The 2048 character it’s how the embedding works. A Google Docs document is also split into multiple embeddings of a maximum of 2048 characters, then the best matching embedding is sent to OpenAI.
I will email to ask for the best ways to teach the agent accurately when dealing with a product description of around 5000 characters. (Unless you want to share best practices here…)
