I just want to clarify that existing agencies can activate WhatsApp channel by going to My agencyProductsAnswerlyCustomize - > Enable WhatsApp Channel

It’s disabled by default for now, so we don’t affect your current setups.

The new WhatsApp settings page is unbranded for whitelabels. @Marvin

Thank you @Fatos for clarifying. Absolutely stunning. So The Agent will work exactly like in the web, only via WhatsApp. So the customer can interact fluently with it via whatsapp??

WOW!!

Hi @Marvin,

Yes pretty much! There are some very few web-only features that don’t work in WhatsApp, but there subtle warnings in the dashboard about it.

The WhatsApp agents also support functions from your AI trainings – which means it can send you images, videos, etc.

Here’s an example:

I don’t have access to a new business WhatsApp account so I have to test things out later, but can you tell me if the following parts are possible:

  1. Can the WhatsApp bot send the iframe embeds the agent has right now? (for instance a weather widget when someone asks for the weather)
  2. Can I send a photo through WhatsApp and can gpt vision read and responds to it?

  1. Yes, please give a few more infos about what is included here exactly.
  2. What this is capable?
  3. What is not working with WhatsApp?
  4. I can add multiple numbers to meta and also answerly, right?

Great Fatos!
But now we have Answerly showing on our Agency Dashboard.

Look for this statement:" Note: An active WhatsApp Business profile is required to connect with Answerly." just below the phone number.

Hi @Campique

  1. WhatsApp can’t open iframe embeds, and we haven’t found an alternative yet. For now agents will send you a link for you to open instead of the iframe.

  2. This feature is coming soon; we plan to support it in the web widget as well, with an ETA of about two weeks.

Thanks for the reply, looking forward to it
